Formation of the KSPA

The King’s School Parents' Association held its first meeting in September 2003. It was formed as a result of a merger of The Mothers' Guild and The Fathers' Association.

Both previous organisations have a long history of support for the school. The Mothers Guild was formed in 1930 and The Fathers Association was founded in 1951.

The King’s School Parents Association (or KSPA) has four main aims:
a) To provide mutual support in all matters connected with the training and upbringing of students at the school.
b) To organise social events with a view to raising funds for providing amenities for the students at the King’s School.
c) To promote social contact between parents.
d) To enable parents of former students (through The King’s School Associates) to maintain their links with the school.
