My first impression of the Junior School

When I woke up I got dressed into my uniform, then I carefully ate my breakfast. I was feeling excited and it was only half past seven.
When I arrived at my new school, an older child helped me to find J1E’s classroom. At first I felt a little shy and nervous, probably because of all the unfamiliar faces in the room.
I soon realised that some friends I already knew were there and this made me feel more comfortable. My teacher smiled at me and asked my name before showing me to my table.
We went down to assembly with the others and Mr. Malone welcomed all of the J1’s to the school. After that it was playtime. I played British Bulldogs with quite a lot of children. It was fun, but confusing.
We were given a locker to keep all of our belongings in. Then Miss Evans gave us our timetable which contained lots of interesting subjects, such as ICT and History.
For lunch I had pasta and cheese, with grapes for pudding and a juice. It was very tasty!
When Miss Evans told us to line up ready to go home I felt very tired but pleased that I had enjoyed myself so much. That night I went to bed thinking about my new friends and looking forward to the next day.
