The Music Department are delighted with the news that 3 students, Seb Fayle (5DL), Edward Andrade (5DL) and Selim Ungut (4MP) have been selected to take part in the Royal Northern College of Music Young Composer Project. This is an amazing result as there are only 12 students chosen from the whole of the North West region!

The pupils have been provided with a four-note motif upon which to base a composition and they have until October 23rd to complete their work. All twelve compositions will be performed by Ensemble 10/10 at the RNCM in November in a concert at the end of the RNCM's New Music North West Festival.
