King's Juniors donate to CRY
The King’s Junior School have donated £200 to the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young. The charity aims to provide young adults between the ages of 14-35 with free ECG heart screenings, helping to detect hidden heart conditions and ultimately helping to save lives.
Research has shown that at least 12 young adults die in the UK per week from hidden heart conditions, 80% of these will have shown no signs or symptoms of illness prior to sudden death and will not have been aware that they had a life threatening heart condition.
