Leading Econonmist Dr Andrew Lilico visits King's
Andrew is a Director and Principal of Europe Economics and has directed major projects on financial services regulation, the cost of capital, pharmaceuticals, competition, and impact assessment. He is an acknowledged authority on the application of real options to price regulation, and has also done working papers on short selling, risk-sharing contracts in pharmaceuticals, housing, debt, and the regulation of markets with short-sighted agents. He has lectured at UCL in Money & Banking, in Macroeconomics, and in Corporate Finance, and is a member of the IES/Sunday Times Shadow Monetary Policy Committee. He spoke for over an hour and answered questions from students about the current economic crisis and his expressed his views on the situation facing the Euro, the banking crisis and the Government's policy on the quantitative easing. |
