George Nott joins the North of England rugby training squad

George Nott George Nott (5JM) has been selected to join the North of England training squad as part of the England U16 selection process. George, who plays No. 8 and Lock Forward, is currently a member of the Sale Sharks Elite Player Development Squad and captain of Chester U16s.  His selection for the training squad is jointly due to George's great efforts at Sale and some barn-storming performances after his selection to play for Cheshire.

The Development weekend, which takes place in January, will allow the selectors the opportunity to see all the players in action and decide which of them will progress to full England honours. George is also a talented footballer and cricketer. He has represented the Northern Independent Schools in football and opened the bowling for King's in last Summer's impressive cup run when King's were crowned Northern Champions.
