Professional dancer gives workshop to King's girls

dance

Nicolette Whitley, a former finalist on ‘So you think you can dance?’, came in to work with the Fourth year girls during games.  She is a professional dancer having graduated from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, and now has her own dance company, Alleviate Dance.  The girls performed a new style of dance called whacking which is a form of street dance and finished the session focusing on contemporary dance styles.  This is the second time Nicolette has worked with this particular group; taking a session last year when they were in Third year.  Nicolette has also worked with the Removes in their Enrichment programme.
