King's pupils receive hockey coaching from England's top players!

Over the October break, pupils had the opportunity to take part in a two-day coaching course run by Mr Egerton and Mr Hornby. Adam Dixon, England & Great Britain International player, and his brother Sam Dixon, a Junior International player, also came along on the day to help with the coaching. Both Mr Egerton and Adam have been selected for the England squad in the upcoming Champions Trophy in Australia in November. Mr Egerton, Adam and Sam all play for Beeston Hockey Club who are currently top of the National Premier League and compete in the European Hockey League (EHL), where the next round will be televised around Easter. The Champions Trophy will be televised by the BBC in November.
