Cheshire Schools Athletics 2011 resultsAfter competing so well in the 2010 District Athletics the following girls were selected to represent Chester and compete in the Cheshire Schools Athletics Track and Field competition on Saturday 11th June in Macclesfield.
Natasha came 4th in her 800m heat with a time of 2 mins 39 seconds. This got her through to the final where she came 9th with a time of 2mins 41.4 seconds. In the junior girls’ 1500m D’arcy Tuite came 11th and achieved a personal best of 6 mins 17 seconds. Emily Boothroyd in the hurdles came 7th in the 75m hurdles with a time of 15.4 seconds and Kitty Abberton came 5th in the junior girls javelin with a great throw of 19.15 metres. Finally, in the senior girls 1500 metres Lottie Fraser-Cox came second with a time of 5.48 seconds and will now go on to represent Cheshire in the Inter Counties Track and Field Cup in Birmingham. |
