Junior School Swimmers Race in National Final

The Junior School Girls’ Swimming team have qualified for the final of the English Schools’ Swimming Association Championship in the 25m Freestyle Relay division.

The ESSA National Primary Schools’ Gala was held in Sheffield earlier this month. The team: Isobel Wild (J4H), Jessica Lee (J4H), Natasha Groome (J4G) and Eloise Dooley (J4G) secured their place in the finals after successfully competing in the qualifiers.

The girls confidently surpassed the first stage of the competition and qualified for the ‘B Final’. The final race was an epic contest; they seemingly led all of the way but came narrowly second on the touch.
