Emily leads the way at King’s with 11A* GCSEs

Pupils' celebrate GCSE ResultsEmily Moss of Rossett topped the GCSE grades at King’s with a stunning 11 A* grades. Following close behind her with 10 A*s were: Meredith Benson of Marford, Matthew Hill of Chester, George Kaye of Upton, Hannah Lawrence-Smith of Huxley and Joshua Smith of Saughall.

Rachel Alcock of Chester   gained  9.5 A * (plus 1 A) whilst Sam Narici of Nantwich , Bethany Shears of Bunbury, Sean Telford of Chester, Kartik Upadhyay of Chester and William Marshall of Tarvin all achieved 9 A*  plus 1 A.

With higher results than last year, 94.9% of the GCSE grades were A*/B Grades and a third of all the King’s pupils gained all A/A* grades.

Headmaster, Mr Chris Ramsey said, “My congratulations go to all the pupils who have worked very hard and to their teachers. We look forward to welcoming them back into the Sixth Form in September when we launch King’s exciting new curriculum aimed at inspiring this next generation of young people.”
