CD ROMS

The library has a collection of about 100 CD-ROMs. These include general encyclopaedias, such as Encyclopaedia Britannica and Encarta, and a wide range of subject based CD-ROMs e.g. Art Gallery and World War II:global conflict.

There is also a useful collection of CD-ROMs on careers and higher education courses. The cover disks from the Internet Magazine are also available. Please ask at the library desk if you want to use a CD-ROM. Most are for use only in the library, but the Internet Magazine disks may be borrowed. A few of the CD-ROMs are now networked and can be accessed from any of the school networked computers.
