Sixth Form CurriculumThe curriculum in the sixth form is based around 'A' level subject choices. Students will take four of the following subjects at AS level in the lower sixth with ten periods per fortnight in each:
In the upper sixth they may choose to take three or four of their AS subjects to A-level. In addition all sixth form students have a games afternoon (2 periods) each week, an afternoon of Enrichment Activities (2 periods per fortnight) and one period of Lifeskills per fortnight. For timetabling purposes the teaching classes are placed into groups. All classes within a group are taught concurrently so a student cannot belong to two classes in the same group.
