Our aim is to ensure that every student gains a
place in higher education. In order to achieve this we offer comprehensive
and expert advice at every stage of the applications process.
Form tutors, subject teachers and the Head of Sixth
Form, people who know each student well, are the key to this successful
support and advice service. We have considerable experience and
a proven track record of success in guiding students' applications
to universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. We have personal
links with many university departments and college admissions' tutors.

We provide
- a tailor-made HE advisory programme
- expert advice and support
- a wealth of experience
- extensive resources

All students are encouraged to make their electronic
UCAS applications early. The well-stocked careers and HE library
is available to all sixth formers throughout each working day as
well as after school.
Regularly we organise HE and careers events when
university teachers and practitioners from many university departments
and from careers and professions come in to school to lead seminars
and advisory sessions.
By working with individual students we help
them to
- develop their knowledge, skills and abilities
- make well-informed and realistic choices
- become effective decision-makers
- manage and exploit opportunities
