Vision
The King's School inspires young people to embark on life confident of their place in the world and able to become leaders in it. We aim to be one of the country's leading co-educational day schools, providing a transformative experience for all pupils within the King's family. The School harnesses and enriches the academic, creative, spiritual and physical potential of both staff and pupils. We aim to shape their way of thinking and experiencing the world and, through them and our work in local society, influence the world. In brief, a King's education aims at the pursuit of unpretentious excellence.
Aims
The school's aim is to provide a first class independent education, both through outstanding academic tuition and through giving to all its pupils the opportunities to develop wider sporting, artistic and social skills. The school nurtures spiritual growth and provides an environment where each pupil can develop and fulfil his or her potential, thus helping to build self-confidence and inculcate a desire to serve the wider community.
