Promoting Positive Mental Fitness

Tue 14 January 2020 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

As I hope you will be aware, during the Michaelmas term we ran the first “Promoting Positive Mental Fitness” evening here at King’s. Because an unfortunate road traffic incident prevented some of you from attending, we are re-running this event, the first of a series, on 14 January 6 -7.30pm
This is a great opportunity to widen your knowledge of issues facing your children today, so please do sign up.
The evening will begin with a talk from Rebecca Hall, Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing at the University of Chester, followed by an introduction to ‘Teen Tips’, a specialist mental health and wellbeing online learning resource we have invested in for both staff and parents.  Teen Tips aims to support adults in creating environments for children and young people which build resilience for life.
It would be great to see as many of you there as possible, as we believe that this programme will give invaluable support to our community and will help us work together to provide an environment in which all children can thrive.
