Senior School Entrance Exam

Senior School Entrance Exam – Friday 5 February 2021

Your child must be over 11 and under 12 years of age on 1 September following the examination, and most children will join in Removes (Year 7).

Senior School assessments consist of:

Non-verbal reasoning paper
Verbal reasoning paper
Mathematics paper
English paper
Interview with a senior teacher

The standard of questions is based on Key Stage 2 of the National Curriculum for England (MathematicsEnglish). There will also be a few questions on the Maths and English papers at a ‘working towards greater depth’ level.

Children who have not yet reached ‘working at greater depth’ should not be deterred from entering.
