It was a pleasure to welcome back former pupil Robbie Duff (OKS 2023) to host our first Careers Breakfast of the 2026-27 academic year.
It was standing room only as Robbie spoke to pupils and staff about his career journey so far since leaving King’s.
Following his A levels in History, Philosophy and Economics, Robbie studied PPE at Loughborough where he has just embarked on his final year.
Robbie focussed his talk on his placement year at AXA Investment Managers / BNP Paribas Asset Management in London and pupils were interested to hear about both the process of securing the placement and how the year has benefitted him
Head of Futures, Clare Holland, thanked Robbie for his time. She said: “It is increasingly important for students to develop employability skills early in order to secure placements, internships and graduate level employment, and for our pupils to hear this from a recent King’s leaver is very powerful.
“I was also as delighted as the pupils to learn from Robbie how many noughts make up a trillion!”
