Congratulations to all 20 of the pupils who successfully completed their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award and received their certificates at a presentation ceremony in the grounds of Buckingham Palace.
Amelia Standing (U6WER), Sam Barnes (OKS 2017), Ben Duncalf (OKS 2017), James Meakin (U6LES), Henry Greaves (OKS 2017) and Tom Ardron (U6LES) attended and received their certificates on a splendid day with some 3000 students from the UK in attendance.
Pupils participating in the Gold Award continue to be involved in a wide range of activities including music, photography, cooking, veterinary surgery assistants and sport. They also devote a significant amount of time volunteering with toddler/youth groups, centres for the elderly and numerous charities.
