Inaugural Creative Arts Dinner

On Saturday 7 March, the Faculty of Creative Arts hosted its first ever Arts Dinner at The DoubleTree Hilton. The evening was open to students from Fourths to Upper Sixth who partook in curricular or extra-curricular drama, music, art or design technology.

It was a great night with prizes being awarded for outstanding contribution Callum Kingsley (Drama) (L6WER), Chris Hatton (DT) (U6WAL), Honey Holmes (Music) (4DUT) and Ceri Murray (Art) (U6WER).

Head of Faculty, Mr Steve Downey, gave an inspirational speech on the importance of creativity and we were also treated to a fantastic musical set by King’s student band.

It was an incredible event which is sure to become a yearly tradition.
