KSPA Fair is a Christmas cracker!

There was a fantastic show of support for the KSPA Christmas Fair last week, as record crowds attended the event and kick-started the festive season in style.

Visitors were able to browse stalls full of beautiful gifts and try their luck in a luxury raffle. A host of other seasonal activities, arranged and coordinated by the King’s School Parents’ Association (KSPA), ensured the afternoon was a great success.

Most popular of all was Santa’s Grotto, with queues outside the door as youngsters waited patiently for their turn to the man himself.

Nicola Evans, Chair of the KSPA, commented: “We’d like to thank Abi Fisher, Bridge Street Coffee and lots of wonderful anonymous donors for raffle prizes- we’d also especially like to thank the 2018/19 J4 Leavers who very kindly donated money left over from their leaving party to be used for raffle prizes!

“We’re also grateful to Mr Ortiz, Mrs O’Leary and Mrs Whitfield for the fabulous live music which we really appreciated. Special thanks must also go to the Catering Manager, Matthew, and all the catering staff for the delicious festive food; and Shirley Davis (PA), Sue Cupples and the facilities and tech teams for all their help with set up.

“Mostly though we thank the parent and staff community for donations and help with the day and just coming along and supporting the event.”
