Over May half term 49 Shells and Thirds students travelled to Catalunya, Spain for a six day cultural and language trip. They stayed in the lovely seaside resort of Tossa de Mar situated on the Costa Brava. Highlights included a visit to the Dalí Museum in Figueras, a morning in Girona, a trip to Tarragona, a port city located in northeast Spain and a fun tip to Parc Aventura! Of course Barcelona itself was not to be missed with the wonderful Gaudí buildings, Parc Güell, Camp Nou stadium, Las Ramblas and the marina.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was a wonderful opportunity for the students to immerse themselves in Spanish culture and use the language as much as possible.
It was a lovely trip with some truly memorable moments as you will see from the photographs below.
