On Sunday 7 July, King’s students, Izzy Whittlestone (3GRO) and Jessica Sedman’s (3WAL) represented U14 Chester Tigers Netball Team and won the ENG Netball Cup National Finals. After starting with sixty teams from around the country, Chester Tigers won the Northern round in Leeds earlier in the year, and went on to be crowned champions after beating Hatfield NC in the final. The girls were thrilled to have their medals presented by England netballer and Commonwealth Games Gold medal winner, Jodie Gibson.
Izzy, Jess and their team will now enjoy a memorable and very well deserved VIP weekend at the Netball World Cup!
