Three players from King’s have been selected to represent Wales in the U17/U15 squads for the Futures Cup competition on 22nd – 25th August. Aled Bennett and Joe Webb are both in the U17 Boys group, with Anna Mackay in the U15 Girls squad.
The Futures Cup is the top representative tournament for English Regional Performance Centre teams plus Welsh and Scottish age group squads.
Aled Bennett also played in the Euro U18 Championship 2nd tier competition in Cardiff, where Wales finished 4th out of 8 nations. Last weekend he also played in a Wales senior development squad in a 3 match series against Scotland which Wales won with one win and two draws.
