Book Bingo winners!

Over the past six months, pupils in Willow Lodge have been working towards completing a Book Bingo challenge. This was set by our Patron of Reading, Mike Revell, and pupils have read books in categories such as ‘A book with teachers in it’ or ‘A book with a penguin on the cover’.  All pupils who completed the challenge have been awarded a small prize by Mrs Harding. 

To celebrate their wonderful achievements, we welcomed Mike Revell into the Willow Lodge classrooms using the power of technology! Mike was able to join us from his new home in France and told pupils a little bit about himself and his journey from a reluctant reader to becoming a published author, as well as answering some questions from the pupils. He also congratulated all those who completed Book Bingo and chose some names at random to win a book.  The winners of the books were:
