Early 1970s Leavers get-together!

A number of former pupils and partners, some of whom had not seen each other for 40 years, met at King’s on Saturday 22nd June for a much anticipated reunion.
After months of painstaking research tracing the whereabouts of the cohort of 1973 the former pupils were reunited, given a tour of the School, and treated to a nostalgic lunch of bangers and mash, rice pudding and jam! Some found it difficult to get their bearings, as extensive changes to the site have been made since the 70s, but with a few former teachers, John Leyshon, Reg Read, Paul Consterdine and Graham Hutton in attendance the anecdotes and memories soon came flooding back!
The day was rounded off with a convivial meal at Moules-a-go-go in Chester.
