Dear Friends,

As King’s finishes for the summer, we gear up our Alumni research activity in preparation for our Medical Networking Event on the 9^th November and our reunion programme next year. In 2014 we will be holding reunions for Alumni who left 50, 30 and 20 years ago. If this is you and you are willing to help contact others from your cohort, we would be delighted to hear from you.

It was fantastic to meet former pupils from the 1970s when they returned to School on the 22^nd June.  All enjoyed the opportunity to reminisce about their time at School, and share memories - both good and bad!  Sadly we were recently informed that popular former teachers Brian Denton and Fred Nelson had passed away, both were highly regarded by many.

The King’s School celebrates its 475^th anniversary in 2016. A working group have met to prepare a proposal to commemorate this landmark. We would love Alumni to get involved and will communicate more as plans are formalised.

If you have any news that you would like to share, please do not hesitate to contact us, or if you happen to be in the vicinity of your old School, do pop in, we’d love to show you around.
