We'd like to invite you to experience the unique learning environment and outstanding facilities here at The King's School. 

We can accommodate tours during the school day or directly after school finishes. Our Admissions Team will be happy to make an appointment for you to have a tour of any part of the school, either with or without your child.  

 

Taster Days

We find one of the most successful ways to see if King’s is the right choice for your child is for them to spend a Taster Day at the school, where they will take part in lessons and activities alongside our pupils. We will try our best to tailor these activities to best suit your child’s interests and hobbies. Taster Days are available throughout the school year. Please contact the Admissions Manager for more information.

Sixth Form Taster Day

The best way to get a feel for life in King’s Sixth Form is to spend a day with us! On a Taster Day, you will be paired with a current student, enjoy lessons that you are interested in studying at A level, meet your teachers and enjoy lunch in the exclusive Sixth Form dining area.

Sixth Form Taster Days can be arranged at any time that is convenient to you and your child.

Look to the Future at Willow Lodge

Is your child due to start primary school in the year 2027 or beyond?

Come along to this informal event and learn more about Willow Lodge Infants and what to expect on your child’s exciting transition from nursery or preschool.

You'll hear from our Head of Infants and Junior School, Mrs Dewhurst, about:

● How our nurturing and child-centred approach ensures every pupil is known, valued and cared for.

● How best to prepare your child for starting school

● How to stay in touch as you move closer to making a decision that’s right for the next step of your child’s education

You will then enjoy a tour of our our eco-friendly, purpose-built facilities.

From the science labs to the sports fields, children will take part in a range of fun lessons and hands-on activities led by our inspirational teaching team.

This popular event is an ideal opportunity for your child to discover our broad and vibrant curriculum, excellent facilities and nurturing environment. 

Please note that this event is only open to children who do not currently attend King's.
