Parents’ Information

 

Our website is packed full of information to help our parents and pupils get the most out of their time at The King’s School. The website is routinely updated to reflect the latest announcements and celebrations taking place across the school and we invite all parents to use it as a key part of life at King’s.

Visiting the School

Parents are asked to report to Reception when visiting school for any reason during a normal school day. You may report to Willow Lodge, Junior School or Senior School, or to the Sports Centre Reception if you are visiting to spectate at a sports fixture. 

Please note that The King’s School is a dog-free site at all times. Please do not bring dogs when collecting your child on foot, or when watching sports fixtures. 

King’s School Parent Association (KSPA)

What does the KSPA raise money for?

Fees fund education, the KSPA funds enrichment and community traditions.

In recent years, the KSPA has funded a variety of initiatives across the whole school:

  • Cricket scoreboard
  • Let’s Get Playing Music scheme
  • VR headset
  • First aid training
  • Microphone headsets for Drama department
  • Bird feeding equipment
  • Equipment for Lego Club
  • Soft furnishings for the library

How can you get involved?

Being involved with the KSPA is a great way to:

  • meet parents across different year groups
  • contribute to the school community
  • bring fresh ideas and perspectives
  • help shape the future direction of the KSPA

We are looking for parents who would like to help support events, communications, fundraising and wider community activities. Some roles are larger, others are small and flexible. All support is valuable and no previous PTA experience is needed.
