Maths Challenge Club
The Maths department have created a team (on Teams) of Removes to Thirds students who enjoy the challenge of tackling Mathematical problem solving questions and want the opportunity to learn mathematics through exploration and discussion. The aim is that we send out a new challenging question each week, discuss alternate solutions and explore new methods. We hope to build students’ perseverance, mathematical reasoning, ability to apply knowledge creatively in unfamiliar contexts, and confidence in tackling new challenges.

UKMT Maths Challenge
This is still going ahead online during lockdown. The top 3 sets in 5ths and the top 2 sets in 4ths will be sitting this during their Maths lesson on Monday the 1 February. Click here for the UKMT preparation.
