Cross-Country: A running start for King’s Juniors

On Wednesday, 1 October, Junior School pupils laced up their trainers to take part in the first cross country meet of the year. 

The conditions were perfect as four teams from King’s Juniors took to the starting line at Rossall School for the AJIS Cross Country Championships.

With all four teams placing in the top three of their age groups, and Seren Graham (J4O) named as AJIS Champion, it was an incredibly successful start to the season for our King’s Juniors runners. 

The team was accompanied by Mr O’Neil, Mrs Grove and Mrs Willis, all of whom were delighted with the results. 

Mr O’Neil said: “What a fantastic way to start the year! King’s Juniors runners are defined by their determination and amazing team spirit and they fully deserved their success today.”
