Juniors experience life during World War II

Curious pupils recently visited Stockport Air Raid Shelters and Museum, to learn about a significant turning point in British history.

The class learned about life on the home front in WW2 and experienced life as an evacuee including learning about rationing.

Pupils also used a range of artefacts to learn about this period in history. The class were then able to go into the air raid shelters and experience what it would have been like for those sheltering there.
