Five footballers from J4 are celebrating a successful season with their football team in the league and cup competitions.
The AFC Waverton team topped the U11s league table as they went into the knockout stages of the cup competition, overcoming tough opposition in the quarter-finals and semis to meet Saughall Colts in the Final.
On May 22, the Final was held at the Deva Stadium. In an exciting match in front of a full crowd, they went on to win 2-0 and, in a fitting end to their season, lifted the Chester and District Juniors Cup.
