Meet our Junior School Mental Fitness Ambassadors

Following the success of the Mental Fitness Ambassador (MFA) scheme in Senior School, we have recently introduced the programme to our Junior School.

In November, Mrs Benson led a training session aided by four members of the sixth form MFA team, with 13 ambassadors from J3 and J4 selected from more than 40 applications.

Mrs Benson said: “I have seen first-hand what a positive impact the Mental Fitness Ambassadors have had in the Senior School and I am delighted that we have 13 very enthusiastic ambassadors ready and raring to go in Juniors.

“The ambassadors will have a visible presence around school and will be involved in assemblies, whole school activities and poster campaigns to promote mental wellness.”

A new badge has been designed by George Galbraith in J4, which is proudly worn by the newly-appointed ambassadors.

Currently, the Junior School team is working on devising activities and tips to help pupils beat the January Blues.
