Junior School Sports Day 2021

What a fabulous two days we had celebrating Sports Day in the Junior School. The sun shone, there were some fantastic performances from all year groups and we even saw some records broken.

J1 and J2 Sports Day was the first to get underway and it was a closely fought contest between the Houses. Congratulations to Lindans who came out on top, narrowly beating Evans who finished in second place. Third place went to Falles and fourth place to Shepherds.

There was a great atmosphere throughout the day with pupils giving their all in track and field events. Special mentions go to our J1 and J2 record breakers:

J1 High Jump – Poppy McKenna (1.00m equalled)

J1 Boys 150m – Lochlan Meek (23.00s)

J1 Girls 150m – Chloe Van Kalles (25.59s equalled)

J2 Long Jump – Purdey Hamer (3.00m)

J2 Long Jump – Farah Younis (3.50m)

J2 Girls 75m – Purdey Hamer (12.75s)

J3 and J4 Sports Day also ended in a close finish with Lindans eventually taking first place, pushing Evans into second place once again. Third place was claimed by Shepherds and Falles finished the day in fourth place.

There was an air of healthy competition around all of the events with some hotly contested records up for grabs. Congratulations to these pupils who enter the J3 and J4 record books this year:
