Tennis: Juniors take to the court

On May 17, our youngest Junior School pupils were excited to take to the tennis court to represent the school for the first time.

The friendly tournament against Altrincham Prep School was organised for J1 and J2 pupils by J2 teacher, Mrs Tomlinson.

She said: “After two years of not being able to play against other schools, it has been wonderful to welcome children and staff from Altringham Prep for today’s tournament.

“We have enjoyed a really fun afternoon of tennis, and it has been a great experience for J1 and J2 pupils to represent the school on the tennis court for the first time. I am also delighted that so many parents were able to come and watch.”

As well as being taught as part of the PE curriculum at King’s Juniors, Tennis is one of eleven popular co-curricular sport clubs offered to Junior School pupils in the summer term.
