A Level Success!

Our Upper Sixth leavers are again celebrating impressive A Level results today as they await final confirmation of their university places. Their university offers include 85% to one of the Russell Group Universities, five to study Medicine and Dentistry and four to study at Oxford and Cambridge.

Just under 70% of all students achieved 3 A Levels graded A*- B.

Three students received 3 A* grades: James Hughes (U6NH); Wilf Le Brocq (U6KS) and Matt Williams (U6CC).

Four more leavers achieved 4 A Levels graded A*/A:  Jack Hodgkinson (U6HJ) (2 A* and 2 A) (Oxford); Gunchit Sharma(U6HJ) (4 A); Yuxin Shi (U6NH) (2 A* and 2 A); and Zack Soutter (U6CC) (2 A* and 2 A)

A further 21 students gained 3 A*/ A grades: Robert Alderson (U6BH); Kiera Barry (U6NH); James Evans (U6KS); Harry Halewood (U6JC); Rebecca Hatton (Cambridge) (U6HJ);  Euan Hay (U6KS); Max Holland (U6NH); Megan Jones (U6JC); Megan Kendall (U6SD); Joseph Langley (U6JC);  Emilia Lipton (U6NH); Simon Parker (U6JR); Reya Patil (U6SD); Anna Plunkett (U6JR); Edward Ramsey (U6HJ); Barnaby Rule (U6JR); Shun Sato (U6NH); Emily Scott (U6HJ); Fraser Smellie (U6CC); and Robert Way (U6HJ).

86% of all the grades achieved by the Upper Sixth students at King’s were graded A*/B and 98% were graded A*/C. 89% of the girls’ grades were A*/B.
