It all adds up to mathematical success

We are very proud of all pupils in Thirds – Fifths who recently took part in the UK Maths Trust Intermediate Mathematical Challenge (IMC).

The IMC is a 60-minute, multiple-choice competition which aims to encourage mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.

Pupils performed very well in the competition, achieving a total of with 12 gold certificates, 36 silver certificates and 53 bronze certificates.

As a result of their impressive performance, ten pupils have also qualified for the follow-on rounds.
