Alumnae careers talks – Scarlett Lawson (OKS 2012)

PR Manager Scarlett Lawson (OKS 2012) kick started our series of alumnae careers talks on Friday 25 January.

The talks form part of our 20 years of girls at King’s celebrations and are a great opportunity for our students to hear about the first-hand experiences of recent leavers.

Scarlett went on to study English Language and Linguistic Science at the University of York, and  is currently PR Manager at Source PR.

Her talk focused on the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone, studying what you love and are passionate about, and being true to yourself.

Mr Hartley joined Deputy Head of Sixth Form, Mrs Hollingworth, and a mix of Fifth and Sixth Form students to hear all about Scarlett’s university and career choices and take part in a Q&A session.

Scarlett then enjoyed a tour of the school with members of our Development Department.

Next Friday (February 1), we will welcome back Emma Ross who works as a UK Warehouse Manager (Logistics).
