Anyone for Cricket?

Monday’s sunny morning provided the perfect setting for a brilliant cricket clash between current King’s pupils and a motley crew of alumni, corralled into action by David Atkin OKS.

The match was played in a competitive but friendly atmosphere that typifies all the sporting events we host here at the school.

Highlights of the match included two superb centuries – one for either side – and Josh Duckworth’s 4-28 for the Alumni Team. The school eventually ran out the winners after a composed run chase with some key partnerships in the final 20 overs. For the final scorecard click here

Players and supporters enjoyed a convivial post-match lunch at the Pavilion organised by Director of Sport, Richard Lunn and were surprised by two rather handsome cakes presented by our Alumni Office.

Alumni interested in a particular sport, and in organising sport activities at King’s are encouraged to contact the Alumni Office at 01244 689492
