Boost for Business and Economics students from former pupil

Our Business and Economics department recently received a fabulous gift from Dave McCarthy, HSBC’s Global Head of Consumer Retail Research and OKS 1978. Hoping to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs and economists he purchased a range of books for the library, that are “all very good and have contributed to my thinking”. As seen in the picture, some titles include ‘The Tipping Point’ by Malcolm Gladwell and ‘Damaged Goods’ by Oliver Shah. Dave felt it important that students are aware of the latest thoughts and trends in the business world.

If you are an alumnus and think you could enhance the education of our current pupils in any way, such as taking the time to speak to them, please get in touch on alumni@kingschester.co.uk – we’d love to hear your ideas!
