King’s OKS Pledges Continued Support for British Architecture Overseas

It has been announced that The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Chief Executive, Alan Vallance, (OKS1983) will be joining the Creative Industries Trade & Investment Board.

Alan will take a leading role on the board and hopes to develop and expand the interest of UK Architectural services overseas.

Alan said, ‘UK Architecture is a global success story which contributes £4.8 billion to our economy. To grow the influence and reputation of the sector it is vital that we expand internationally and I am delighted to join the new Creative Industries Trade and Investment Board to support this. One in five architects want to work internationally but they need more financial support and market information in order to so.’

With a demonstrated passion for the creative industries, we are sure that Alan will make a positive impact on the board.
