We were saddened to hear of the passing of Terry Hands on Thursday 4 February, who was Artistic Director at Theatre Clwyd, Mold and the Royal Shakespeare Company for more than 13 years. King’s alumni may remember winning a Chess prize, awarded in both the Senior and Junior School, which was sponsored by Mr Hands for the last 10 years. His wife Mrs Hands taught Drama as an extra-curricular activity at King’s and their two sons also attended the school.
