Nickolas Grace leads Drama Workshop for students

Acclaimed actor Nickolas Grace (OKS 1962) visited King’s on Friday to lead a drama workshop for drama A-level, GCSE and LAMDA students. The workshop began with a combined vocal and physical warm-up, and then moved on to various other exercises that Nickolas uses to relax the body and mind. Students then presented a monologue of their own choosing and Nickolas provided useful feedback to each, to help enhance their performance. Finally, pupils had the opportunity to take part in a Q&A where Nickolas gave some useful tips on how to succeed in the industry. He explained why life experience and passion are important to those wishing to pursue an acting career and encouraged all students to follow their dreams.

The day before Nickolas visited King’s, he was awarded a Doctor of Letters from the University of Chester in the Cathedral.
