Rob McKay nominated for Mersey Maritime Award

Congratulations to King’s alumnus Rob McKay (OKS1996) and his company Sherrington Associates who have been included on the shortlist for the finals of the 2018 Mersey Maritime Awards for Micro Business of the Year.

Sherrington Associates is an executive search and recruitment provider based in Chester. In the three years since Sherrington Associates was founded by Rob and his wife Joanne, the business has gone from strength to strength.

The Mersey Maritime Awards for Micro Business of the Year is an annual celebration of excellence and innovation in the Liverpool city region’s £4bn maritime sector.

Mersey Maritime unveiled the shortlist for its 2018 awards last week, with organisers claiming it to be the most competitive pool of nominees to date. The shortlist includes a diverse range of business and it was compiled by the judges using a scrupulous points-based system.

The final will take place at Liverpool FC’s Anfield Stadium on 8^th of March.
