David Ling OKS (1969) recently sent us some pictures of King’s in 1969 – it’s clear to see there have been many changes over the years! We hope the pictures spark fond memories of your time at King’s.
· A photograph of the school bus and minibus of that era. A luxury coach of 1940s 0r 50s vintage, which was luxurious compared with its predecessor which had wooden seats with no upholstery!
· There is a picture of the swimming pool which also shows the school’s weather station next to the flagpole.
· The building with the Morris Minor on the left is the Army Cadet Force HQ which was where the music school is now located.
· The final photograph shows the interior of the prefects’ room (which is now an IT office).
