The scent of freshly baked bread was flowing through the Forest school trees at Willow Lodge last week as our Wrens were busy baking delicious bread over the camp fire!
They learnt all about campfires and the safest methods of lighting and maintaining a fire within a forest, whilst also discussing the importance of clearing up a site properly when finished.
They were also given the opportunity to season the bread with a variety of tasty condiments, which made for a delicious selection of bread when it was finished.
Bread always tastes better when it’s homemade!
