Bronze success at annual STEM Olympics - The King's School Chester

Bronze success at annual STEM Olympics

On Tuesday, 23 June, eight Third Year pupils travelled to The Grange School to compete in their annual STEM Olympics, a series of exciting practical challenges designed to test teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills.

Competing in teams of four against students from schools across the North West, both King’s teams performed exceptionally well throughout the day, with a special congratulations to Team Crick, who won the ‘Amazing’ activity and secured an impressive bronze medal overall.

Dr Bosworth, Head of Physics, praised the students’ achievements and highlighted the value of events such as the STEM Olympics: “Competitions like the STEM Olympics give students the opportunity to apply their scientific knowledge in a fun, practical environment while developing vital skills such as teamwork, communication and scientific thinking. We are incredibly proud of the way both teams represented King’s, and Team Crick’s bronze medal is a fantastic reward for their hard work and enthusiasm.”

Congratulations to all eight students for representing King’s with such enthusiasm.
