Careers Breakfast: Law, Financial Fraud and Cryptocurrency

The subjects of Law, Fraud, and Cryptocurrency drew an engaged audience from all year groups as pupils from Removes to Upper Sixth, as well as two members of staff, welcomed Ryan Sweetnam for this week’s Careers Breakfast. 

Ryan, who is a solicitor and leading specialist in crypto-fraud, talked first about his own career journey. His message to the pupils was to take every opportunity and be prepared to adapt as, no matter how much you plan, your career can take you in interesting directions. 

Pupils listened attentively as Ryan told stories of crypto-fraud and loss of funds, before asking a range of intelligent questions about the scope of Ryan’s work. 

Head of Futures, Clare Holland, thanked Ryan for his time and his insights into a fascinating career.
