Creative mask making

Olivia Das (SHWAL) has been creative and made her very own King’s mask. She has said:

“I always do a lot of crafts, but over the lockdown, I really did a lot of weaving and dressmaking. I have made masks for all my family. I have made matching tops and masks for myself to wear out of school, so when Mr Hartley announced we were going to be wearing masks at school now, I had the idea to make a mask to match my uniform.

We had an old blazer which was no use anymore, so I decided to use that to make a mask.

To finish it off properly I traced the school logo from my PE kit and hand-embroidered it on using gold thread that I use for cross stitch.”

It looks fantastic, well done Olivia!
